Awesome spot. Great area along the water to relax with kids and fish

A bit run down but a great trail to ride out there..
Needs some more limestone on the Sandy sections of Ridge Trail and it would encourage more traffic.

Fantastic place to camp but I'm afraid it could be short lived, we had a local come over off his boat telling us that the area was no longer 4x4 accessible and that you can no longer camp in the campground area and that it's only for boaters locals and back packers. The only reason we got in was because someone had pulled posts and cut wires to the fence that surround the camp area. The track we used looked like a busy one so I'm not sure what is going on here in regards to being able to camp in the cut campground area. No signage or rangers about, plus nothing on wiki camps or here on Google to say otherwise. You can camp on the beech side of the cut but it's not very sheltered. Didn't use the toilet as we had our own and the jettys are a little run down. Heaps of life in the water but only got the 2 undersize crabs in bad conditions, don't bother fishing the bay during crabbing season, to many blowies around from the constant baits in the water. Buffalo beech is good for a fish we caught whiting, herring and flounder. Lots of dolphins about to, only way to the cut is south along the beech and the entry onto the beech is very soft so make sure you let the tyres down. Apart from this the coast is stunning and there is no weed about anywhere with visibility through the water being fantastic

Great place for fishing and interacting with the many dolphins in this area
