We run a cleaning business and we bought a public liability insurance package from this company. In our call, we provided the information that we do residential cleaning for households. The guy picked up my call agreed that, and they made a long policy WITHOUT COVER FOR RESIDENTIAL CLEANING ACCIDENTS. When we claim for for a TV broken while we were cleaning at one of our client's house. They stated that the policy only cover accidents at shopping centre - where we never provide service. After nearly a year, they got back to us and asked to pay $1,000 excess fee if we want to pursuit the claim BUT THEY NOT SURE IT WOULD BE SUCCESSFUL OR NOT. What would their purpose be?
