Only worth stopping in if you want to gamble and don't have children. Smokers fill the beer garden and kids aren't allowed in the sports bar but are allowed to hang out in a room set up for poker for locals. We stayed for 10 mins and even that was too long.

My family and I chose to eat here on Wednesday night taking advantage of the $6 chicken schnitzel deal. The kiwi lady behind the bar was very happy and smiley. She was run off her feet but still had time to dress a side dessert with chocolate writing and a candle for my father as it was his birthday. The meals were quick given the amount of people already seated and the meals were well presented and delicious. Over all we weren’t expected a huge amount from this venue but under new hands it was surprisingly refreshing and we will return. Excellent job to the staff.

I played poker here on Saturdays, a bit run down, food Choices started off reasonably good but over time deteriorated in quality and choice, but then it is only a small pub, drink prices and choices just ok
