Nice country hall. We arrived at 2am - a CFS strike team with 27 tired firefighters, and the hall was open AND laid out with food... The fine folk of Harrogate had signs up saying "CFS help yourself". At 2am, it was wonderful to let the troops kick back and take a break for 30 mins.
Splendid community effort. Worth far more than "official" thank-you's. Over the next week I brought more crews in for a rest at the hall. No-one was disappointed!
