A theatre organ concert at the Capri is a spectacular afternoon of family musical entertainment not to be missed. The Wurlitzer organ is an amazing instrument like unto a miniature orchestra, capable of creating all sorts of sounds and playing an incredible variety of music genres. It's on for young and old. It will definitely bring a smile to your face.

Tonight I experienced my first Fever Candlelight Jazz-Best of Nina Simone at the Capri. Bonnie Lee Galea, and the boys were absolutely brilliant. The staff from candy bar to ushering where friendly, and very helpful to all patrons. Looking forward to my next Capri visit.

Fantastic 40s decor lovingly restored by the dedicated team of volunteers. Magnificent chandeliers glistening from the art deco ceiling, curved cabinetry, sweeping staircases, deco mirrors and deep maroon carpets all add to the feel of the theatre.
If you plan ahead and attend when the theatre organ is playing then you are in for a special treat.
The theatre plays regular movies and also has a regular program of organ concerts. Check out the website for all the entertainment options available for the general public and for groups large and small.

The best place to go to watch old movie and see live performances. Make sure you time it so that you get to hear the organ being played live before the movie. I think it's Tuesday, Friday and Saturday nights

Listening to the pipe organ is a must in this volunteer run cinema. Worth going on a Saturday night to get the bonus. So many SA iconic food and drink items makes this place bring back childhood movie going memories
