Had such an amazing experience here. My husband got us the feeding frenzy tour and usually it’s with a group of people but we were lucky for it’s to just be us. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience and definitely recommend this to everyone.

Great sanctuary and experience. Could really see the difference this place is making. The open get room (behind glass) was really good to help explain the importance of the wild life rescue and process involved. Got to meet little Lenny the wombat. A great added experience to younger children. Also good to see that there are new enclosures being planned and available for wildlife as needed in the future.

My partner and I loved our experience here! Lot's of native animals such as wombats, owls and Tasmanian devils which are being rehabilitated or cared for. Our tour guide was very informative and interesting. Highly recommend!

We rescued a Joey on road and contacted them. They kept messaging us to send him to them. We did the next day and sent him to Moonah after hours vet and the nurse who checked him said he is in great condition and they will transfer him to Bonorong later, but when we call back to the vet next day morning. They said they had to put the Joey to “sleep” by law as Bonorong had replied them that there were no available carer site for this Joey. So what you think the heaven you send the animal to might be the BUTCHER&DEATH. What a sarcasm it is. So sad and disappointing. Here is what I think, what if the Joey I sent to them is a Tasmanian tiger baby? Will they leave him to death? I don’t think so, they probably will make it available even it is actually not. So lives in their eyes have been tagged a price first, some are more precious than others. HYPOCRITE!!!
