Beautiful spot. The admittedly shabby-looking willow tree on the road closest to the lake is actually the oldest surviving “royal tree” in Australia. It was planted by prince Alfred (queen Victorias son) on the first royal visit to Australia.

Don't bother with The Sails. They don't have any food ready to eat like pies or pasties,and what they prepared was pretty terrible
